Vintage Navajo Handmade Copper Concho Belt

This stunning vintage Navajo concho belt is made of solid copper and features 14 hand crafted round conchos shaped with scalloped edge detailing. This belt features traditional Navajo engraving patterns which have been hand-hammered by the talented Navajo Native Americans in the Southwest. The designs feature triangle shaped tipi's, sun rays and flowers. The belt has aged to beautiful dark copper brown, and really is a beautiful work of art. It fits at the natural waist.

27.5" long with hook clasp.
The center domed concho is 2" round, while the rest of the links are a bit smaller at about 1.25" round.

Era: 1930s or 40s

Copper Weight: 100 grams

Condition: Excellent and beautiful vintage condition. The belt shows natural wear due from aging. In my opinion, the patina is what makes this belt so special.
