Absolutely stunning hand embroidered antique French Tambour lace petticoat skirt. This lovely skirt is made with antique fabric dating from the 1890s-1910s. Beautifully restored, tea-dyed, and re-shaped by designer Bonnie Strauss, this lovely lace textile is now a wearable piece of history. Featuring a hand crocheted floral motif, this skirt features several hand crafted lace pieces throughout.
Made from all natural cotton tulle, this rare skirt is sheer and can be worn over a number of different colored slips or antique petticoats to achieve your look. We have it paired here with a Victorian linen petticoat in the shop. A beautiful collector's piece that you can actually wear!

Elastic waistband measures: 32"
Hips: Free
Length: 39"
Condition: Excellent vintage condition showing no major issues. There may be one or two pin sized breaks in the tulle but nothing that distracts.
