Almost entirely covered with hand-embroidery, the design is set on black silk featuring four large roses, one at each corner of the shawl. The rest of the shawl is covered in connecting florals and vines, in purple, turquoise, yellow, orange, red and fuchsia. The style, size, and vibrancy in color of embroidery is unusual for a shawl of this age- ones this large are extremely rare to find.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition. Some very small stains hidden in embroidery, few loose threads. No holes or discolorations. Very strong, wearable and overall in excellent condition for the item's age.
