RARE! Fabulous Vintage 1960s Bonnie Cashin Swing Coat
RARE Bonnie Cashin black and white checkered print Mod wool boucle coat from the 60s! Fabulous and modern minimalist design from an acclaimed fashion designer. In 1962, Cashin was hired as Coach’s first designer. She designed for the company until 1974. She also designed for dozens of other firms including Hermès, Ballantyne and Aquascutum, as well as under her own label.
This rare coat features a huge dramatic scarf collar which can be plumped and shaped however you like. Two gold tone pins act as fasteners which can pin the scarf into shape and keep in place. The scarf can be worn off to the side as pictured or thrown over the shoulder. Fully lined, excellent quality wool, and the perfect heavy weight coat for New York and other chilly cities.
