Rare larger size 1930s black velvet gown with antique French lace. The lace is cut and sewn to look as if it is dripping down into the velvet, creating a striking contrast against the black. Semi-sheer, the lace features a floral motif that pops off the skin. The gown has full puffy sleeves and an ultra long skirt that trains behind when you walk. The great thing about buying a larger size dress is that you can get it altered to fit you perfectly. Would be beautiful as an alternative wedding or formal occasion dress.
