Very rare avant-garde high style 1940s crushed silk top with black trim and faceted black glass bead buttons. This lovely top is fitted with short elbow-length sleeves. It is nipped at the waist and features black faceted glass buttons down the center. The curls on the front and bottom of the top are very surrealist - and are quite reminiscent of a Salvador Dali painting. This beautiful surrealist top can be worn tucked in or out over a just-below-the-knee pencil skirt or with some trousers.
Size: XS/S (fitted in the shoulders and bust, best for petites or people with narrow shoulders)
Condition: Excellent to near perfect condition. No holes, stains, or tears. It has been freshly dry cleaned and is ready to wear. The lining is just a little faded near the back neck.
