Stunning Edwardian Era (1900s-1910s) hand made Irish lace and crochet gown. It is hand stitched, made of a white sheer Irish crochet tape lace with detailed mesh-work, raised floral leaf designs and connecting thread picot ornamented bars.
This beautiful bridal wedding gown dress is floor length on a petite person, with a slightly flared skirt, cute crochet balls, elbow length fitted sleeves, a fitted waist, is sheer, unlined and has hook closures down the back.
It is in really good condition, with only one missing hook closures on back, some small breaks in the connecting bride bars and a small age spot on the skirt (see close-up). This is truly an extraordinary rare piece of wearable antique lace art!
