Stunning, rare, and hand-crafted sparrow earrings dating to the Victorian era featuring turquoise, rose gold, yellow gold, fresh water pearls, and genuine silver. Two round turquoise "eggs" are held by sterling silver talons, while a beautiful and natural fresh water pearl emerges from underneath an engraved cracked gold "egg" shell. Yellow gold flowers and wrought iron detailing add a sweet element, which surround the hand-crafted sterling silver Sparrow birds. The entire scene of the earring is held on a beautiful rose gold backing, with three gold dangling arms.
Truly a spectacular and original pair of Victorian earrings, we are sure this will be a pair you will treasure forever. Tests positive for 10k gold. Unmarked.

Condition:
Very good vintage condition. Natural patina consistent with item's age. The right earring shows a small chip in the top of the bird's head. The back of the earring shows evidence of repair.
