Amazing and rare late Edwardian to 1920s glass crystal pastes sautoir necklace. Ultra long and slinky, this stunning paste necklace features sparkling old mine cut crystals enclosed in an open back silver plated metal setting. Antique crystal pastes from the 1920s were faceted so as to reflect as much light as possible during the new age of electricity. This lovely necklace would complement a stunning evening gown or add a little old world charm to any outfit. The pastes really pop when worn on black.

Condition: Very good vintage condition. Some patina to the brass and silver plated backings. Some links in original chain have been replaced. One paste stone has a tiny red mark on it.
