About Gunne Sax:
The Gunne Sax name was born in San Francisco in 1969 by Jessica McClintock. This dress is from her 1970s collection when she was inspired by the Renaissance and Victorian eras.
Fabric: Cotton poly blend. Machine made lace. Dress is lined- sleeves are sheer.
Size: Small or Medium
Waist (empire waist): up to 31" since it ties in the back
Hips: Up to 40"
Sleeve Length: 28"
Condition: Excellent vintage condition with minimal wear. The dress has no structural flaws and is still very wearable. It has two faintly colored age spots on the back of the dress near the flounce (see photos). Luckily these aren't too noticeable since they are very lightly colored and are on the back of the dress. There is one small snag on the flounce as well. Still - a very beautiful dress for its age and is a great price for a wedding dress. Dry cleaning may help to get the age spots out.
