Vintage 1960s halter style floral print hostess gown/Hawaiian dress. During the 1960s, hostess gowns were long dresses worn by the lady of the house when she entertained. Made of two layers: this stunning vintage 60s gown features a printed sheer polyester over a blush pink taffeta lining. The cut on this dress is simply fabulous! The bodice features a built in velvet bow-belt that hugs the natural waist, while a tuxedo style ruffle adds character to the neckline. The halter snaps in the back on the neck, and the dress zips down the center middle. Pair this dress with flats or your favorite sandals for a little resort-wear fun.
Fun fact: In the early 1960s, Vogue magazine even suggested having hostess gowns made to match your living room curtains and upholstery. Weird but kind of awesome!
Bust: Up to 36"
Length (taken from top of halter neckline): 56"

Condition: Very good vintage condition with some wear. There are some very light stains on the dress on the right near the side seam. They aren't too noticeable since they blend into the print. Otherwise, this dress is in fantastic shape.
