Muse featured in Oakland Magazine!

Our shop was featured in "Find Style on Ninth Street" in Oakland Magazine's February 2020 issue!

Original article written by Annie Crawford:

"Old Oakland is full of charm on Ninth Street between Washington and Broadway. Wide, brick lined sidewalks, historic street lamps, and Victorian architecture welcome visitors.

One short block showcases some of the best of Oakland, including restaurants and cafes, professional services, and fitness opportunities. The Old Oakland Farmers Market brings in local produce and goods every Friday from 8am to 2pm, and the friendly neighborhood feel makes this a perfect retail destination. Stop by and stroll a few Ninth Street highlights.

For fabulous women's fashions, stop in at Muse. "Those who love a bit of glamour and beauty will love the old-meets-new feel of Muse," said owner Jenn Kubat. "We curate independent brands alongside rare and designer vintage, and we offer a hands-on approach to every customer who walks in the door."

Pretty blush and gold wallpaper adorns the walls, and you'll find a mix of day and evening looks in a range of prices, plus accessories for all occasions. In October, Muse relocated from Berkeley to Ninth Street.

"I love the community aspect of Old Oakland and the beautiful storefronts that adorn this charming street," Kubat said about her new location."
